My first day on break, I went to Korean Barbecue with my friends, and went back to one of their houses to watch a movie. The next week, my family first went to Arizona to visit my aunt, uncle, cousin, and grandma for Christmas. They live in a city near Phoenix. We arrived on my birthday and we went to a pizza place called Oregano's. For the rest of our time there, we relaxed at their house. My older cousins also stopped by to visit. One lives nearby in Arizona, but the other also made the trip from California. We left Arizona the day after Christmas to visit my family on my dad's side visiting from Texas. We drove back and stayed at my grandparents' house where they were staying for the rest of the week. While we were there, we played mahjong, which is something we do every year. We also went to see the new Jumanji movie. After they left back to Texas, we also returned home. While at home, I went to see the new Star Wars movie with my family. Despite the mostly critical reviews, I thought the movie was enjoyable. I spent the rest of my break relaxing and working on homework. I finished reading Truman Capote's In Cold Blood for my AP English Language class and my AP Biology assignment. I also played video games, including the new Pokemon game for the Nintendo Switch. During the last weekend, my family from Arizona came to visit us. We celebrated my sister's birthday early with them, as she will be back at college in Berkeley on the actual day. They left on Sunday, and I spent the rest of the day finishing my homework and relaxing.
